HURST -- Terry Lee Sellers,64, passed away November 5, 2012 in Costa Rica. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, December 1, in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd. in Hurst. You may honor his memory with a donation to The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation or the National Children's Alliance. Terry was a Hurst resident since 1960, where he became a volunteer fireman at 17 and joined the department in 1968. He had never wanted to do anything else and held the rank of lieutenant until his retirement. He also owned a haze mat business for many years before selling out and establishing a residence in Costa Rica. Terry will be terribly missed by his family and friends, he was an incredible son and brother, mischievous, funny and fiercely protective. He was kind and loyal sometimes to a fault. Terry made life long friendships from every walk of life. While in Costa Rica he bought bags of dog food to feed the strays, shoes for those without and lunch for anyone needing a meal. He forged strong friendships with some very loving people that can never be repaid for their kindness to him and his family through his illness and passing. SURVIVORS: His mother, Hellen Sellers Hodges and her husband Wily; brother, Bill Sellers and his wife Dee; sister, Gwen Sellers Albee and her husband Keith; nieces, Jennie Sellers, Jana Sellers Munford and her husband Gary; nephews, Keith,Jr. and his wife Rayla and Kris Albee and his wife Kim; great nieces, Brooke, Jordyn, Jessica and Kayligh; great nephews, Josh and Kane.
