Thomas Baker

Thomas Baker, 67, beloved husband, father and brother, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He was born April 20, 1943, in Red River County to Pauline Holloway Baker and George "Tay" Baker. Tommy shared 46 happy years married to his wife, Carla Trimm Baker, with whom he made a home in the Arlington and Mansfield area. For 36 years, Tommy worked for American Hospital Supply Corp., now Cardinal Health. He loved fishing and the Texas Longhorns, rallying his family members on holidays to cheer on their favorite football team, especially during Texas-OU weekend and the national championships. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lloyd and Dale Baker; and two sisters, Wilma and Gail Baker. Survivors: Tommy will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carla; daughter, Lea Ann Stevens and husband, Jeff, of Arlington; granddaughters, Victoria and Elizabeth Stevens; sister, Muril Gross and husband, Junior, of Texarkana; mother-in-law, Iris Bradley of Arlington; sisters-in-law, Becky Grimes and husband, Tommy, of Mansfield, Teresa Trimm of Commerce and Cindy Trimm of Arlington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
