ARLINGTON -- Thomas E. Colvin, puzzle master, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, in Arlington. Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Vietnam Veterans of America. Tom was born June 23, 1947, in Hutchinson, Kan. He served proudly in the Vietnam War for the U.S. Army. He loved playing and watching sports, especially his beloved Packers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas B. and Edmona Colvin; and five-time Super Bowl champion, Ray Nitschke. Survivors: Children, Laura Rawlings of North Richland Hills and Andy Colvin of Keller; their spouses; three granddaughters; and Super Bowl XLV MVP, Aaron Rodgers.
