Type Obit Here     HURST -- Thomas Newton Julian, 89, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011.        Funeral: 3 p.m. Monday in Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.        Memorials: Should friends desire, contributions are requested to North Richland Hills Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Association or Cornerstone Assistance Network.        Thomas, the son of Thomas and Cathron Virginia Lee Julian, was born March 8, 1921, in Pine Bluff, Ark. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was a longtime active member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church and the Lions Club. Cooking, golf and music were hobbies he greatly enjoyed.        He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Mills Julian, in 2009.        Survivors: Children, Tom Julian and his wife, Linda, Bob Julian and his wife, Doreen, Nancy Ellerd and her husband, Sammy, Chuck Julian and his wife, Sharon, Rick Julian and his wife, Gay, and Leslie Crandall and her husband, Jim; grandchildren, Amy, Carla, Laura, Katie, Stacy, Jeremy, Emily, Jenny, Becky and Christy; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Holden, Cora, Graham, Mabry, Jadyn, Katelyn, Elodie, Breckyn and Marijn; and sisters, Ann Clark and Jane Snider.
