GRAPEVINE -- Tommie Jean Fox, 74, went to her heavenly Father on Monday, Aug. 25, 2014. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine. Memorials: Donations may be made to her church: Christian Life Center Church, 2611 W. Main St., Gun Barrel City, Texas 75156. Tommie was a longtime resident of Grapevine and a graduate of Grapevine High School. She was a retired American Airlines employee and made many lifelong friends there. Hers was a life well lived, devoted to family and active in her church. She enjoyed visiting the ocean and living on the lake. Her unfailing positive attitude and sense of humor inspired those around her. While her passing is a great loss to all who knew her, there is joy in knowing she is forever at peace with the Savior she faithfully served. Tommie was preceded in death by a son, Gary Fox Jr. Survivors: Son, Todd Fox and wife, Kim; daughter, Dana Bernard; grandchildren, Kyle and Chad Fox, Nick Foreman and Joe Bernard; great-grandchildren, Brenley and Ella Fox; and sisters, Billye McGinnis, LaVada Barton and Sue Dearing.
