Tyler Oster

EULESS -- Tyler "Ty" Oster, 62, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, at his home in Euless. Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Anglican Church, 3800 Popplewell St., Richand Hills. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his grandsons' college funds in care of Ruth Oster or Jeremy and Terri Cooley. Ty graduated from Richland High School in 1964 and Texas Tech in 1969. His only child, Terri, was born June 23, 1969. He spent his childhood in Richland Hills and later resided in Euless. He enjoyed NASCAR, Harley Davidson motorcycles and collecting baseball caps. After watching his NASCAR races, he would head to North Main BBQ for his favorite meal. He will be greatly missed by his mother, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis "FO" Oster, and his beloved Chow, Rex. Survivors: Daughter, Terri Cooley and husband, Jeremy; mother, Ruth Oster; grandchildren, Alec Tyler Cooley, Hunter John Cooley and Brock James Cooley; numerous cousins; and many lifelong friends.
