FORT WORTH -- Vernon Joe Hall, 79, was welcomed to the house of the Lord Wednesday December 28, 2011. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday Calvario Funeral Chapel (formerly Shannon North) 111 W. Northside Dr. Interment: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 9-11 a.m. Tuesday prior to service Vernon was born September 21, 1932 in Hughes Springs,TX. to Floyd and Ola Patman Hall. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran in the Korean War. Vernon was a resident of Fort Worth for over 40 years and retired from a life long career in grocery management. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: daughters, Dianna Drake and husband, Clarence, and Kathryn Marquez; grandchildren, Brian Drake and wife Michele, Amber Gratz and husband Nate, Crystal Pickett and husband Mike, Sky Cassady, Jason Cassady, and Shaun Marquez; 4 great-grandchildren.
