Vicki Mason

MANSFIELD -- Vicki Lynne Nelson Mason left this world on the arms of angels after a brief battle with ovarian cancer at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.        Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Blessing Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.        Vicki was born April 28, 1956, in Fort Worth to Raymond and Bobbie Nelson. She was the youngest of three children. Vicki married Billy Mason in Fort Worth and they resided in Bonham.        She was victorious over the raging disease as she held her head high, knowing that her Father in heaven had so much more love and peace than she could ever find on earth.        Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Raymond; her nephew, Jackie; niece, Krista; both maternal and paternal grandparents; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.        Survivors: Husband, Billy Mason; mother, Bobbie Nelson; siblings, Butch Nelson and Carol Pennington; nephew, Raymond Nelson; great-niece, Cadence Nelson; brothers-in-law; and an especially loved mother-in-law, Darlene Ross.
