KELLER -- Virgil L. Richardson, 83, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at a local hospital. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Keller, 225 Keller Parkway, with pastor, the Rev. Keith Sanders officiating. Interment: Bourland Cemetery, Keller. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Keller Funeral Home, 137 E. Hill St. Memorials: Friends who desire are respectfully invited to honor Virgil's memory with contributions in his name to the building fund of First Baptist Church of Keller. Virgil was born Sept. 13, 1928, in Kiowa, Okla. He and his wife of 49 years, Doris, were members of First Baptist Church Keller for 42 years. He retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed after 40 years of service. Virgil was a loving husband, daddy, dad and pa-pa. He was a gentle, quiet, kind man and loved by all who knew him. Survivors: Wife, Doris Richardson; daughter, Debbie Ruff and husband, Ernie; son, Don Turner and wife, Katie; grandchildren, Stephanie Pelley and husband, Jeremy, Erin Turner, Alex Ruff and Zach Ruff; great-grandchildren, Landon, Baylee, Jacob and Abigail Pelley; extended family; and many friends.
