FORT WORTH -- Virginia Lee Hale, 78, went home to the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Legacy Church of Christ, 8801 Mid-Cities Blvd. Dr. Jim McDoniel will officiate. Interment: Lawnview Cemetery, Cordell, Okla.
She was born May 9, 1929, in Floss, Okla. Virginia was a fun-loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a member of Legacy Church of Christ. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a major in German. She loved her family, traveling, gardening and just about any adventure you can think of. She had great energy and was never afraid to try new experiences such as learning to fly or riding a motorcycle. Her Christian spirit would shine through in whatever project she tackled.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Louise Brandon, and her daughter, Leta Louise Hale.
