Virginia Pratt

Virginia was born June 28, 1936, in Cushing, Okla., the third child and only daughter of William E. and Leora E. Jones. She grew up in Oklahoma and Texas, settling in Fort Worth in 1978.  She was married to James L. Pratt. She was a homemaker and worked many years as a waitress and was involved in the resale business. Until recently, she was an active member of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church in Fort Worth.  Survivors: Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, James of Fort Worth; daughters, Cheryl Ann Gore (Robert) of Charleston, S.C., and Brenda Gail DeBerry of Fort Worth; brothers, Jimmy Jones of Conroe and Dale Jones (Helen) of Texas City; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
