BEDFORD -- Virginia Stocker, 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. The Rev. Dr. Nathan Finch, pastor, Bedford Baptist Temple, will officiate assisted by the Rev. Troy Lee Russell. Entombment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Virginia was born Feb. 20, 1936, in Baird to Lloyd and Mary Lee Green Gary. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed gardening and creating recipes for her creative cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Ray Nell Duncan. Survivors: Her loving husband of 32 years, Don; children, son, Bill Spivey of Bedford, daughter, Darinda Powell and her husband, Charles of Bedford, sons, Chuck Stocker and his wife, Lisa of Grand Prairie, Steve Stocker and his wife, Brenda of Keller, daughter, Michele Chaney and husband, Randy of Bedford; brothers,...
