FORT WORTH -- Virginia Dillard Stumbo, 92, a retired assistant banking vice president and a beloved aunt, sister and friend, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Monday at Trinity Terrace (auditorium) 1600 Texas St., Fort Worth, with Chaplain Tricia Baldwin officiating. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Virginia's honor to Oakhurst Presbyterian Church, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Trinity Terrace Chapel Fund. She was born in Midlothian. Virginia was a member of Oakhurst Presbyterian Church. She assisted L.N. Wilemon in the founding of North Fort Worth Bank in 1941 and was employed by the Wilemon family estate. Virginia was one of the first women to become a bank officer in Tarrant County. She was a member of the National Association of Bank Women and the Fort Worth Women's Club.
