Vivian Pledger

HURST -- Vivian Pledger, 92, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. A department store manager and homemaker, Vivian was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Venus to Floyd and Josephine Singleton. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lynn C. Pledger; son, Joe L. Pledger; daughter, Patricia G. Fite; sister, Lerlene Sisk; and grandson, Matthew J. Suggs. Survivors: Son, Patrick G. Pledger of Hurst; sister, Jessi Little of Fort Worth; brother, Milton Singleton of Arlington; grandchildren, Sheri Hinson, D'Anna Rust, Sean Pledger, Debbie Toler and Robert Hart; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
