WALTER CAMPBELL

A native of Van Zandt County, Walter Campbell was born Feb. 15, 1920, the son of James Rennie and Dollie Johnnie Crump Campbell. He was married to Esther Cable Walker.  Walter retired from Elder International as a supervisor. He was an avid sports enthusiast, especially baseball and football. He enjoyed gardening and loved his cats.  Survivors: Wife of 32 years, Esther Cable Campbell; daughters, Denise and Vicky Campbell and Faye McBrayer; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Juanita Strickland of Arlington.
