Wanda Mashaw Horn

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Wanda Lynn Mashaw Horn passed away Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at North Richland Hills Baptist Church. Interment: 2 p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Rd., Hurst.        Wanda graduated from Jasper High School in 1961. She married Bob, her high school sweetheart, and were married for 48 wonderful years. She touched many hearts and lives in many ways. Wanda played the piano in each church she was a member, starting at the age of 12, at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Jasper under the tutelage of Willie Mae McLeod. She won many awards and accolades. When in high school she went before a judge at the Piano Guild in Beaumont, where she played a selection of 15 songs she had memorized.        She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Mashaw.        Survivors: Husband, Bob Horn; son, Todd; mother, Jean Mashaw Becker and her husband, George; brother, Thomas J. Mashaw and his wife, Belinda; sister, Ann Mashaw Gore and her husband, Bob; grandsons, Ryan and Randall Horn; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Lynn and Ryder Tatum; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
