Whitman Dillon

Whitman D. Dillon, Jr. Tioga Whitman D. Dillon, Jr., 58 of Tioga died on Thursday, November 13, 2008 in Denton. He was born on June 18, 1950 in Whitesboro to Whitman D. and Johnnie (Argo) Dillion, Sr.. He married Ida Jones on June 17, 1977 in Denton. He was employed by the University of North Texas for the last 27 years. He is survived by his wife Ida Dillon of Tioga, two sons, Gary Dillon of Tioga and Paul Dillon of Denton, and one daughter, Jennifer Dillon of Tioga. He is also survived by three brothers, Wayne Ray Dillon of Denton, Danny Dillon of Pilot Point, and Billy Ralph Dillon of Collinsville, and three sisters, Brenda Ledford of Pilot Point, Fay Wilson of Keller and Irene Krueger of Pioneer Valley, as well as one granddaughter, Christen Lee of Whitesboro and one great-grandson Michael Rodney Davis of Whitesboro.
