Wilamac Brakefield

Mac Brakefield - formerly of Homer La., went to Heaven to play her beloved music in our Heavenly Fathers big band in the sky on January 27, 2012 in Mansfield, Tx. Memorial Service will be 1 pm Wednesday at St. Peter and St. Paul Anglican Church, 3900 Morris Lane, Arlington Tx 76016. Mac was born on July 20, l936 in Chicora, Ms, the daughter of Paul Brock Newton and Wilalee Davis Newton. She moved to Texas to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Louis Brakefield Jr. and will be greatly missed by her son Jonmarc Brakefield and wife Shelley of Houston Tx, son Robert Gilbert Brakefield of Corpus Christi and daughter Mary Brakefield Ditore and husband Jason of Mansfield Tx. She had three precious grandchildren, Brianna Brakefield, Cameron Ditore and Cole Ditore. Also her beloved feline companion "Rhett Butler". Mac had her Masters degree in music which was her passion. She also loved animals. Her family would like everyone to know that she lived a great life and gave us all so much happiness. "Let the Music Play On"!!
