Willa Johnson

FORT WORTH -- Willa Ruth Johnson passed away Monday, June 28, 2010.        Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Faith United Methodist Church, 3419 E. Belknap, with the Rev. Nancy Allen and the Rev. Sandralyn Pierce officiating. Interment: 10:30 a.m. in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 517 N. Sylvania.        Even though she had been homebound for several years, she was active most of her life in the Oakhurst Garden Club, the Reviewers Book Club and United Methodist Women.        She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Johnson Sr.        Survivors: Son, Carl A. Johnson Jr. and his wife, Carol; daughter, Jeanene Craig; and grandchildren, Lauren Stevenson and Whitney Johnson.
