William Foster

Tun was born in Newcastle to Benjamin "Daddy Ben" and Ada Foster. For over 50 years he was very involved in the Masonic Lodge. He was a past master of Lamesa Lodge #909 and Roanoke Lodge #668. He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. During World War II, he was proud to serve as a 50 caliber machine gun instructor while stationed at Fort Bliss. He enjoyed entertaining, cooking, telling stories, hunting and serving those less fortunate. Mostly Tun loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. The family extends a warm thank-you to Covenant Hospice and Dr. Bill Jordan for their kind care. Survivors: Wife of 61 years, Anne Foster; son, Grant Foster and wife, Pam; daughter, Staci Jordan and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Holli Foster, Matthew Jordan and Benjamin Jordan; brothers, Demp and Shan Foster; and a large extended family and friends.
