MANSFIELD -- William Reyer "Bill" Gidley passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the age of 80. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Mansfield Church of Christ, 580 Pleasant Ridge Drive, Mansfield. Mr. Gidley was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Pearl Rhodes Gidley of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his father, O.V. Gidley of Fort Worth; brother, Robert Lynn Gidley of Golden, Colo.; nephew, Rick Nichols of Estes Park, Colo.; and infant brother, O.V. Gidley Jr. Survivors: Daughters, Nancy Cope, Susan Carter and husband, Monte; son, Tim William Gidley and wife, Juanita, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Monica Sudbury and husband, John, Adam Carter and Melissa, Tim William Gidley II and Hayden Gidley, all of Mansfield; nieces, Lynne Nichols of Estes Park, Colo., Anne Gidley and Carla Murphy of Fort Worth; nephew, Mark Gidley and wife, Claudia, of Denver, Colo.; cousin, Lulu Belle Wadkins of Enid, Okla.; and many other relatives and friends in many places.
