HALTOM CITY -- William Loyd "Dub" Moore Sr., 75, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2010, with his family and friends by his side. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Sylvania Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Day officiating. Interment: Following a committal service, Dub will be laid to rest in Boyd Cemetery, Boyd. Visitation: Dub will lie in state noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lucas Sylvania Funeral home, with family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. Dub was born April 22, 1935 to Jess and Florence Moore in Hubbard. He was employed 44 years by a uniform company known as Local Uniform Rental, which changed to Servisco and then Airmark. He enjoyed his work, could always find someone to talk to and might even exchange a joke with them. He love people and loved and enjoyed his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers. Survivors: His wife, Edith; son, William "Rusty" Moore Jr. and wife, Jennifer; daughters, Marie Barbetta and husband, Nick, and Dana Quinn and husband Johnny; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie McClure and husband, Curtiss, and Johnnie Pryar; a host of nieces, nephews and friends; and his dog and buddy, Charley.
