William Vanderland

KELLER -- William H. "Bill" Vanderland, 92, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011.        Celebration of life: Will take place at a later date.        Bill was born Sept. 4, 1919, in Whitesboro, N.Y., to Emory Vanderland and Alice Jones Vanderland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta, and daughter, Jan Tsubakihara.        Survivors: Daughter, Billie Jean Roark of Roanoke; grandchildren, Tracie and Mark Cherry of Midland, Tomie Jan Thomas of Midland, Teri and Dave Matlack of Summerville, S.C., and Tina and Scott Hilmen of San Diego, Calif.; grandson, EG "Trey" and Nicole Thomas of Odessa; four great-grandchildren; brother, Elwin and Diane Vanderland of Harker Heights; and nieces and nephews.
