William Woodard

WATAUGA -- William Lynn Woodard, 54, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at a local hospital.        Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Chapel in Hurst. Interment: Friday in Carroll Springs. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.        William, the son of Allen Odell and Hazel Sims Woodard, was born Feb. 10, 1956, in Fort Worth. He retired from the Waste Water Department of the city of Fort Worth in 2009 after more than 25 years of service. He was a member of Cowboy Church of Tarrant County and the Haltom City Pistol Club. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Odell Woodard.        Survivors: Wife, Debra Woodard; stepson, Christopher Rampy; mother, Hazel Woodard; brothers, Wes Woodard and Les Woodard; sister, Carolyn Bowling; play-grandchildren, Lauren and Luke; and several nieces and nephews.
