KELLER -- W.C. Bass, Jr. passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 in Keller, TX. Graveside services were held at the DFW National Cemetery Jan. 6. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 28th, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Keller. He was born July 29, 1932 in Tucumcari, NM to Jack and Daisy Bass. He married Theda Weaver in June 1954, after returning from Korea where he served for two years. They moved to Pampa, TX in 1956. He was a member of Central Baptist Church where he served on many committees, was ordained a deacon and served as chairman several times. He was a chair member, sang bass in a quartet and was a member of a barbershop group. He served on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club, the Salvation Army, and president of Coronado Merchant's assoc.
