Willie Webb

Pilot Point - Willie Mack Webb, 91, of Pilot Point, TX, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away on September 5, 2010 in Corinth, TX. She was born on November 5, 1918. A native of Memphis, TN, she married Paul Webb, Sr. of Grand Junction, TN on November 24, 1943, in Memphis. They lived in Memphis, TN for 4 years and later moved to Kansas City, MO in 1947. She was very active in church and community projects all of her life. She worked for Moore's Cleaners in Pilot Point, TX for the last 11 years. She was a gifted singer in church and was very involved in music most of her early life. She was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church of Tioga, TX and now a member of Midway Baptist Church of Aubrey, TX. Born Willie Mack Pace, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Webb Sr. in 2003 and by her father, Samuel Moody Pace in 1923. Also preceding her in death is a sister, Margie Pace Morrell in 1953, her mother, Hattie Mae Pace Neal in 1986, her brother, Orville C. Pace in 1990 and sister, Lee Evelyn Wilson in 2007. She will be deeply missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul Webb, Jr. and Lela, and her three grandchildren, Dirk Webb and wife Jennifer of Denton, TX, Doug Webb and wife Georgina of Pilot Point, TX, and Heather (Webb) Massengale and husband Jason of Aubrey, TX. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Riley Webb of Denton, TX, Preston and Parker Webb of Pilot Point, TX, Austin and Addison Massengale of Aubrey, TX. As well as step-grandchildren Chance Riggins of Urbana, IL and Shea Akers of Krugerville, TX and step-great-grandson Lucas Riggins of Urbana, IL.
